How much does it cost to start a Rent The Roo franchise?
The all-inclusive costs involved in establishing a franchise is between the range of $250,000 - $300,000. This figure includes approximately $120,000 liquid funds that you will need to purchase your initial stock items.
How much is the royalty?
Rent the Roo charges a royalty of 10% of your rental receipts collected, which is paid monthly.
How much is the advertising royalty?
There is no advertising royalty charged. The franchisor contributes to the fund exclusively to the benefit of the franchise network. You will however be encouraged and supported to implement your own local area marketing initiatives.
How long is the franchise term?
The franchise agreement is in place for a period of 5 years with an option to renew for a further period of 5 years for an additional cost of $10,000.
How long is the training?
The initial training program involves one week at our Head Office in Hobart. During this time you will receive instruction on business administration and in-field experience. When you start in your own territory, we will have one of our Management team working with you side-by-side to meet customers and arrange supplier meetings.
Do I have to be licenced?
Rent The Roo holds a current Australian Credit Licence (387405) and as a franchisee we would grant you approval to operate under the guidelines of that licence until such time as you are qualified to operate under your own Australian Credit Licence.
